The finest French Bulldogs in the United States
Welcome to our website.
We are a family living in Southern California that loves all things Bulldog! We have fostered over 200 dogs in the past 15 years in our home and bulldogs were always the hardest to let go to their forever homes because we would fall in love with them so fast. After we purchased our first bulldog named Bubba, we vowed we would always have a bulldog in our lives. Anyone who has ever had an English Bulldog knows what we’re talking about.
Bubba’s temperament was so perfect that he qualified and was licensed to serve as a therapy dog. We went to several nursing homes and children’s hospitals where many sick people were missing their pets. Bubba put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces! We also went to elementary schools and libraries and had children read aloud to Bubba, one on one. It’s been proven that children with difficulty reading feel more comfortable reading aloud to a dog. Children don’t feel judged by a dog like they do with their peers. The teachers told me their students’ reading improved greatly after their reading sessions with Bubba!
After fostering so many dogs, we decided to breed bulldogs because there are so many people out there breeding unhealthy, ugly bulldogs that don’t even look like a bulldog when fully grown. It is sad how people are ruining the breed. After a few English litters, I really wanted to start breeding Frenchies, too. Greg didn’t want Frenchies because he thought they were little foo foo dogs. LOL!! Well, after talking about them non-stop, he decided to welcome not only one, but three Frenchies into our home!
We quickly fell in love with Frenchies; so much so, that Greg began showing Frenchie’s in the ABKC show ring! As a result, we now have several Sensational Bulldogs Champions and Grand Champions, and the #1 ABKC Male French Bulldog for 2013! Today, we breed more Frenchies than English! I always tell people that Frenchies are like potato chips; you can’t have just one. I also believe that having two is better for them since they crave attention and when you go away they can have their buddy to hang out with.
We are hobby breeders and not in this to make a quick buck. Believe me, it costs a lot to breed and raise bulldog puppies, not to mention a lot of time. For the first four weeks after the puppies are born, I rarely leave the house and if I do it’s just to go to the grocery store or pet store for more supplies. I wouldn’t have it any other way though. I absolutely love doing it!
We breed beautiful, healthy French and English bulldogs with amazing conformation and temperament. All of our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club. Not only do we breed standard color Frenchies, we specialize in exotic colors such as blue, chocolate and black and tan. All of our dogs are considered members of our family and live inside our home. We have an extremely large (five-acres), grassy backyard where our bulldogs get to run and play.
After the puppies are born, I camp out next to mom and her babbies. I keep the puppies warm in an incubator and take them to feed on their mom every two hours. Our puppies are socialized with humans and older dogs right from the start, which is crucial to their development. I also start potty training them as soon as they are ready.
All of our puppies are fully checked by our bulldog-specialist vet, to include one to two sets of vaccinations, prior to going to their forever home. All puppies will go home with proper care and feeding instructions. We never ship our puppies as cargo because we feel it is too dangerous and stressful on them. We have heard many horror stories of Frenchies dying in cargo from overheating and other issues. They have also been left out on the tarmac for extended periods of time in hot weather. We have a puppy nanny that flies with our puppies inside of the cabin and will meet you at your nearest major airport for hand delivery.
If you are planning on becoming a Frenchie mom or dad, please do your research. Frenchie’s need a great deal of attention and do not do well left out in extreme weather conditions. Another thing a lot of people don’t realize is that Frenchies cannot swim. Every year, several bulldogs die due to drowning accidents in backyard swimming pools. They are honestly the best breed to have and will give you endless amounts of love and affection. Please look through our website and enjoy!
